Power Purchase Agreement: Between NBBL & Bangladesh Power Development Board for tenure of 22 years
Fuel Supply Agreement: Between NBBL & Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation
Gas Supply Agreement: Between NBBL & Sundarban Gas Company Ltd.
Land Lease Agreement: Between NBBL & Bangladesh Power Development Board

FUEL

Types of fuel we use

Natural Gas: Gas is supplied by Sundarban Gas Company Ltd. form Shabazpur gas freld located on Bhola Island.
High Speed Diesel: High Speed Diesel is supplied by Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation from Barisal depot. High Speed Diesel is transported to site.

LAND

 

Total land in possession for the project is c. 30 acres.
c. 13 acres is leased by Bangladesh Power Development Board for Power Purchase Agreement tenure and handed over to NBBL.
c. 17 acres of land purchased by NBBL & under possession.

WATER

 

Water required for the plant is sourced from Dehular khal (canal) which runs along the boundary of the project site.
Water requirement of c. 400 m3/hr

POWER OFFTAKE

 

Power evacuation through 62.5KM double circuit 230 KV line from Bhola to Barisal
Bhola - 1 230 KV AIS connected with Barisal receiving S/S through 230 KV D/C transmission line.
Bhola - II power plant generation being exported from 230 KV GIS to Bhola - 1 AIS and onward transmission to Barisal S/S.
